Celebrity

This series is entitled Celebrity - for weeks I drove past this field of sunflowers. A sea of bright yellow topped off with a roof of deep blue and fluffy white clouds.

Every time I pasted the field the tourist paparazzi stood there clicking away on every type of camera from big heavy Canons to pink happy smiley Panasonics.

Now the paps have gone home and the West Somerset Celebrities are left to slowly return to the earth. Their images will live on hidden on someones hard drive lost and finally deleted to make room for another inane pointless 500th of a second creation of celebrity. Whether you are an X-Factor one night sensation, a field of flowers in a corner of England or a cast away love. We will all be celebrities, we will all be forgotten, we will return to the earth.
